This year marks the 19th year of the Serbian Film Festival in Australia. The Festival is bringing the latest films from Serbia to Hoyts Cinemas across Australia from 14 to 24 November, with screenings in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth.
Over the past 18 years, audiences throughout Australia have viewed over 130 Serbian feature and documentary films. Belgrade-based film critic, director and producer, Nenad Dukic selects these contemporary films each year. Indeed, some of the films have had their world premiere in Australia.
We are delighted to announce that this year our special guest from Belgrade will be well-known actress Vesna Čipčić, who will attend the Australian premiere of the internationally acclaimed movie AJVAR in Sydney and the screenings of the film in other Australian cities.
